In particular, she has a passion for the development of start-up and early-stage technology innovators, recognising the unique challenges of their business aspirations and market environments, especially when international growth intentions are involved.
She has a fresh and open approach to new business development, considering both conventional and progressive models, which enables her to have an incredibly balanced perspective in terms of both cost-optimisation and value-generation business opportunities.

Josie embraces good governance practices for businesses of all lifestages as an enabler to get better results faster, ranging from formal board environments to advisory boards, and including best-practices for self-governance within early stage businesses.
She is an experienced and strategic Independent Director with Chair experience and a unique mix of governance and industry skills and experience. Her governance portfolio has consistently focussed on a blend of public sector, commercial, and social organisations to allow her a diverse and balanced perspective of issues addressing industry ecosystems.
